Who is someone who has invested in your life?

When I was in school, I had a pastor come alongside me and really pour into my spiritual growth. The time he took to teach me spiritual habits set me up for who I am today, and I don’t say that lightly. The time we spent together over 20 years ago still has ripples in my own life.

But those investments don’t stop there. He was not the only person who spent time with someone younger with the purpose of helping me grow. I can think of professors, pastors, and mentors through almost every season of my life who have reached “down” to me in an effort to make me feel welcome, valuable, and worthy.

Having people like this in our lives makes a significant difference. And sometimes, we have them and don’t realize it.
